28-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Strait of Malacca has moved Eastwards and downgraded into Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Malaysia. It is likely continue to move Eastwards and gradually weaken during next 12 hours. According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DATWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved Northwestwards and is crossing near Tricomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 240 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and continue to cross eastern part of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reached over the North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Flood condition of Ayeyarwady River

According to the (10:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Seiktha has exceeded by about (2) feet above its danger level. It may continue to rise from the present water level by about (½) footduring the next (3) days and may remain above its danger level.

According to the (10:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Hinthada has exceeded by about (1) foot above its danger level. It may continue to rise from the present water level by about (½) foot during the next (3) days and may remain above its danger level.

According to the (10:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Zalun has exceeded by about (1) foot above its danger level. It may continue to rise from the present water level by about (½)foot during the next (3) days and may remain above its danger level.
