14-10-2024:According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into well marked low pressure area around 15-10-2024 and continue to move West-Northwestwards  and may reach to North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India around 17-10-2024. Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay and party cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Flood condition of Ayeyarwady River

   According to the (07:30)hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Seiktha has exceeded by about (9) inches above its danger level. It may fall below its danger level during the next (3) days.

  According to the (07:30)hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Hinthada has exceeded by about (½) foot above its danger level. It may remain above its danger level during the next (3) days.

  According to the (07:30)hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Zalun has exceeded by about (8) inches above its danger level. It may remain above its danger level during the next (3) days.

Advisory

   It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Hinthada Township and Zalun Township, to take precaution measure.
