23-10-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal (off Tamil Nadu coast, India) has moved Northwestwards and crossed North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and weakened into a Low pressure area during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Flood condition of Sittoung River

           According to the (13:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Sittoung River has exceeded by about (2½) feet above its danger level at Madauk. It may fall from the present water level about (½) foot during the next (2) days and may remain above its danger level.

Advisory

          It is especially advertised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Madauk to take precaution measure.
