8-1-2026 : According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has move West-Northwestwards and no lies over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean. It is centered at about 685 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 340 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 535 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the (13:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of ChindwinRiver at Mingin is observed as about (2½) feet below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next (3) days.
It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas at Mingin Townshipto take precaution measure.
