29-10-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm “MONTHA” over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and crossed Andhra Pradesh Coast, near South Kakinada, India. It is likely continue to move Northwestwards and downgrade into a Cyclonic Storm during next 6 hours and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the (10:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ngawun River at Thabaung is observed as about (2) inches below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next (1) day.
It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas at Thabaung Township to take precaution measure.
