28-10-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm “MONTHA” over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards still persists. It is centered at about 630 Nautical miles West of Coco Island (Myanmar), 210 Nautical miles Northeast of Chennai(India) and 70 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kakinada (India).Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the (11:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at NyaungOo is observed as about (½) foot below its danger level. It may reached its danger level during the next (2) days.
It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas at NyaungOo Township to take precaution measure.
