8-1-2026 : According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about 735 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 250 Nautical miles Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 455 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

Five low pressure areas may form over the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal and three may further intensify into the depressions. Weather will be generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition

Rain or thundershowers are likely above normal in Taninthayi Region and about normal in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.

Night Temperature

Night temperature will be about normal of Winter average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.

Fog Condition
