Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal ‌and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Issued at (14:00) hours M.S.T on 31- 7-2020

According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, due to the remnants of tropical depression over South Chin Sea and strong to vigorous monsoon over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and  Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls and isolated heavy falls during (3.8.2020) to (8.8.2020).

During this period, rain are likely to be (3)inches (77-mm) and above in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and  Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States within (24)hours.
