2-9-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely  to further intensify during next 24 hours. Thereafter, it  is likely  to move  west-northwestwards and cross Odisha, India, during next 48 hours. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Issued at (15:00) hours M.S.T on 16- 9-2020

According to the observations at (14:30) hrs MST today, Tropical Storm
 "NOUL" will be moved to the west and then crossed to the Vietnam 
coast. Due to the remnants of tropical storm and strong to vigorous 
monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal, rain or 
thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw,
 Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and  Taninthayi Regions, Southern
 Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of 
regionally heavy falls and isolated heavy falls during (19.9.2020) to
 (22.9.2020).
During this period, rain are likely to be (3)inches (77-mm) and above 
inBago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and  Taninthayi Regions, Southern Shan,
 Rakhine ,Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and (1.5)inches (38-mm) and 
above in Naypyitaw and Magway Region within (24)hours.
