26-11-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca has moved Westwards and intensified over Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia into a Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR”. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 140 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 55 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and 390 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). It is likely to cross Northern Indonesia near Kuta Makmur during next 6 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move West-Southwestwards and recurve eastwards and gradually weaken during next 48 hrs. According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka has intensified into a Well Marked Lowe pressure Area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
