 25-7-2025: According to the observations at 09:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression that crossed to the interior regions of the Southwest of Dhaka (Bangladesh) has moved North- Northeastwards and weakened into a Depression. It is continuing to cross the interior regions of the Northwest of Dhaka (Bangladesh). Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Late Monsoon Period Forecast

Late Monsoon period is a period starting from 1st September to the date of Monsoon withdrawal from the Whole Country.

Withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon

Southwest monsoon is likely to withdrawal in:

  1. Northern Myanmar areas during (15-20) of September
  2. Central Myanmar areas during (21-26) of September
  3. Deltaic areas during 27th September to 2nd October
  4. The Whole country during (3-8) of October

Bay of Bengal condition

Three Low Pressure Areas may form over Bay of Bengal and two may further intensify into the depressions.  Monsoon will be moderate in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rainfall condition

Rain or thundershowers will be expected above normal in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Mon States and about normal rain in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah and Kayin States.
