According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into well marked low pressure area during next (24)hrs, thereafter it may further intensify into a depression and may reach to North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India around 17-10-2024.
