1-12-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts almost stationary and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 75 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area   has formed over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Thailand Coast. It is likelihood to move West-Northwestwards and it may further intensify into a Depression over North Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal around (15.11.2021).

General caution

Due to the low pressure area, rain or thundershowers will be scattered to fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States during (13.11.2021) to (15.11.2021). Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
