Low Pressure Area Condition

According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over South Andaman Sea and adjoining Thailand Coast now lies over Central part of Andaman Sea. It is likely continuous to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Depression over Westcentral and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal around (17.11.2021).
General caution
Due to the low pressure area, rain or thundershowers will be scattered to fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, TaninthayiRegions and Shan,Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States during (14.11.2021) to (18.11.2021).Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-TaninthayiCoasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-TaninthayiCoasts.
