24-10-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over Southeast and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal on 25-10-2025 and further into a Deep Depression on 26-10-2025 and into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over coastal areas of south Odisha- North Andhra Pradesh now lies over Northwest Bay of Bengal off Odisha coast still persists. It is verylikely to become more marked during next 48 hours.
