It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards during the next 24 hours. Weather a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (17:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwest wards and further intensify into a Well marked Low Pressure Area on (29.1.2023) and a Depression on (30.1.2023). It is likely to reach Southwest Bay of Bengal and near Siri Linka coast on (1.2.2023).
