2-9-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to further intensify during next 24 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross Odisha, India, during next 48 hours. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over Westcentral and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal. It may further intensify and move Northwestwards towards Odisha Coast, India.
