According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Central and adjoining North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and become more marked over Westcentral and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal on 30-8-2024. Thereafter, it is likely to intensify into a Depression on 1-9-2024.
