 14-7-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over the North Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh, West Bengal and North Odisha, India. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over South Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial India Ocean still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify during next 24 hrs. Thereafter, it is likely to reach over Southwest Bay of Bengal (off Sri Lanka - Tamil Nadu Coast, India) around 11-12-2024.
