26-8-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal (off Odisha Coast, India) still persists. It is likely to move West–Northwestwards and further intensify. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at 15:30 hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (off North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha coasts, India). It is likely to move west–northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours and cross South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coasts on 19-8-2025.
