3-9-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to further intensify during next 24 hrs. Thereafter, it is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross Odisha, India, during next 48 hrs. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
Minimum Alert Water Level

According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Sagaing is (177) cm. It may fall about (½) foot during the next (5) days and may reach below its minimum alert water level (170) cm.
