27-7-2024: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the North Bay of Bengal and adjoining Costal areas of Bangladesh and Gangetic West Bengal, India intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and cross Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Jharkhand and North Odisha, India during next 12 hrs.

Minimum Alert Water Level

According to the (12:30) hr MST observation today, the water level of Chindwin River at Monywa is (110) cm. It may reach below its minimum alert water level (100) cm during the next (5) days.
