27-10-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “MONTHA” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwest and reached over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about 515 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 260 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 305 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify Severe Cyclonic Storm may form on 28-10-2025 and may cross Andhra Pradesh Coast on that night. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

1.   According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of   Ayeyarwady River at Mandalay is (255) cm. It may rise about (1) foot above the present water level during the first (10) days of May, 2021 but may remain below its minimum alert water level (360) cm.

 2.   According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of   Chindwin River at Monywa is (55) cm. It may remain below its minimum alert water level (100) cm during the first (10) days of May, 2021.
