24-2-2026:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over South Bay still persists. It is likely to move Northeastwards during next 24 hours and weaken gradually. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

During the Month of October, the water levels may exceed one time each their respective town danger levels at Taungoo and Madauk of the Sittoung River, one time at Myitnge of the Dokehtawady River and one time at Maubin of the Toe River.
