28-10-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “MONTHA” over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards and reached over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is centered at about 585 Nautical miles West of Coco Island (Myanmar), 195 Nautical miles East-Northeast of Chennai(India), 160 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and intensify into Severe Cyclonic Storm during next 6 hours and cross Andhra Pradesh Coast during next 24 hours. Weather is Cloudy over the West central Bay of Bengal, a few cloud to partly cloudy  Andaman Sea  and lsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

          During the months of December, the water levels may fall below the present water level by about (1-3) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha, Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing and Myinmu, and about (3-5) feet at Pakokku, NyaungOo, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun of Ayeyarwady River.

          The water levels may fall below the present water level by about (1-2) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, and about (2-3) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa of Chindwin River.

          The water levels may fall below the present water level by about (1½) feet at Kalay of Myittha River, about (½) foot at Hsipaw, about (2-4) feet at Shwesayan and Myittha of Dokhtawady River, about (2-3) feet at Taungoo and Madauk of Sittaung River, about (1½) feet at Shwegyin of Shwegyin River, about (1-3) feet at Zaungtu and Bago of Bago River, about (1-3) feet at Hpasawng and Hpa-an of Thanlwin River, about (1)feet at Myawaddy of Thaungyin River, about (1-3) feet at Ngathaingchaung, Thabaung and Pathein of Ngawun River, about (1½) feet at Maubin of Toe River, about (1-2) feet at Paletwa and Kyauktaw  of the Kaletan River, about (1½) feet at MyaukU of Laymyo River, and about (1½) feet at Bilin of Bilin River.
