25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

Southwest monsoon is likely to withdrawal in Northern Myanmar Areas during (12-18) of September, Central Myanmar Areas during (19-25) of September and Deltaic Areas during (26) of September to (1) of October. Two Low Pressure Areas may form over the Bay of Bengal and one may further intensify into a depression. Monsoon will be weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Conditions and Rainy Days

Rain will be expected about normal in Nay Pyi Taw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah , Kayin, Mon States.

Rainy days will be expected about (21) to (25) days in East Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States, about (16) to (20) days Upper Sagaing, West Bago Regions and Shan, Chin States and about (11) to (15) days in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Madalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State.
