26-8-2025: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal (off Odisha Coast, India) still persists. It is likely to move West–Northwestwards and further intensify. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
