24-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area  over near the costal areas of West Bengal and North Odisha (India) and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 26th AUGUST, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Taninthayi Region, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, isolated heavy falls in Bago and Yangon Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-10)feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and about (5-7)feet in Mottama, off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coasts.
