It is centered at about 645 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 420 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 605 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay,  partly cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Weather has been generally fair in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Rakhine, Southern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below January average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine State and 2°C above January average temperatures in Yangon Region and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Shan States, 3°C above January average temperature in Ayeyarwady Region and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 2.5°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 4.4°C in Hakha, 5.3°C each in Pyinoolwin and Tiddim, 5.5°C in Mongyang, 6.0°C in Heho, 7.1°C in Loilin, 7.3°C in Myitkyina, 9.5°C in Pinlaung, 10.0°C in Mingin and 10.5°C in Taunggyi. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.28 inch in Hkamti.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 1st February 2025: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%.
