BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Eastcentral and Southwest Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 26th February 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Ayeyarwady Region and Kayah, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States, isolated in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30-35 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States.
