29-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Srilanka has moved North- Northwestwards. It is centered at about 795 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 150 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 65 Nautical miles North-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and reach over Southwest Bay of Bengal (near the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India).Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is  a few cloud over the Andaman sea and North Bay and  partly cloudy  eleswhere over the  Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th MAY, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Chin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing  Region and Kachin State,  scattered in Bago, Yangon ,Ayeyarwady and Tanintayi  Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, isolated in Mandalay  Region and Shan State. Degree of certainty is (80%).Weather will be partly cloudy in  the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3- 5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States.
