SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 2°C above March average temperature in Mon State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 39.0°C in Nyaunglaybin, 38.6°C in Chauk, 38.5°C each in Kawkareik and Myawaddy, 38.4°C in Pyay, 38.0°C each in Shwekyin, Hpa-an(Agro-Met) and Theinzayet, 37.8°C each in Khayan and Mawlamyine and 37.6°C each in Zaung Tu and Bago. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 0.28 inch in Machanbaw and 0.16 inch in Putao.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, Eastcentral Bay and South Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7th March 2025: Rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
