SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions. Weather has been partly cloudy in Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Eastern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 3°C to 4°C above March average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Southern Shan State and 2°C above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States and 4°C below March average temperature in Kachin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 43.1°C in Chauk, 41.8°C in Nyaung Oo, 41.6°C in Magway, 41.5°C in Sinbyugyun, 41.3°C each in Mandalay and Aunglan, 41.2°C in Myingyan, 41.0°C each in Minbu and Sagaing, 40.5°C each in Tada-U(Aviation-Met), Taungdwingyi and Myinmu and 40.4°C in Pyay on 14-3-2025. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 0.55 inch in Putao, 0.39 inch in Machanbaw and 0.12 inch in Myeik.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th March 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Kayin, Chin, Mon, Northern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
