SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been scattered in Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan State and isolated in Kachin, Mon States. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Magway Regions and Chin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 3°C above March average temperatures in Magway, Upper Sagaing Regions and Chin State, 2°C above March average temperatures in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan States and 12°C below March average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 43.4°C in Chauk, 42.7°C in Minbu, 42.1°C in Magway, 40.7°C in Sinbyugyun, 40.6°C each in Mandalay and Myingyan, 40.5°C each in Nyaung Oo, Tada U(Aviation-Met), Taungdwingyi and Myinmu and 40.2°C each in Aunglan and Gangaw on 19-3-2025. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 0.39 inch in Myeik, 0.10 inch in Mongpying and 0.04 inch each in Thaton and Kengtung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21st March 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States.
