SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Yangon Region and Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions, fairly widespread in Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Sagaing Regions. Day temperatures were 2°C above May average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Kayin State, 2°C below May average temperature in Yangon, Upper Sagaing Region and Rakhine State, 3°C to 4°C below May average temperatures in Bago, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah States, 5°C to 6°C below May average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Chin, (Northern and Southern) Shan States and 7°C below May average temperatures in Eastern Shan State and about May average temperatures in Mon State. The significant day temperatures were 39.5 °C in Naynglaybin, 39.0°C in Kawkareik, 38.1°C in Hpa-an, 38.0°C in Hpa-an(Agro), 37.7 °C in Dawei, 37.5 °C in Chauk, 37.0 °C in Pakokku, 36.8 °C in Belin, 36.7 °C in Zaung Tu and 36.5°C in Mawlamyine on 1-5-2025. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 3.11 inches in Mingin, 3.07 inches in Yeu, 2.36 inches in Sittwe, 1.73 inches in Yamethim, 1.57 inches in Kalay, 1.55 inches in Patheingyi(Shwesayan), 1.46 inches in Loikaw, 1.26 inches in Mongyang, 1.18 inches in Pyinoolwin and 1.10 inches in Heho.
BAYINFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region and Rakhine State and scattered to fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Shan States.
