BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 28th MAY, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw and Mandalay Region, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Chin and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 - 12)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and Mon-Taninthayi Coasts, about (4 - 8)feet in Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State.
