BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 28th MAY, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and Chin State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Regions, Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 - 12)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and Mon-Taninthayi Coasts, about (4 - 8)feet in Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State.
