BAYINFERENCE: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area has formed over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of Odisha and West Bengal, India still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards across North Odiaha and adjoining West Bengal. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 27th June 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Magway Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Upper Sagaing, Region and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Mandalay, Sagaing, Regions Rakhine, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occassional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 11-13 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States.
