BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
Special Weather: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, Depression over Southeast of Gangetic West Bengal (India) and adjoining Bangladesh and intensified into a Depression now lies over the same region. It is likely continue to cross Gangetic West Bengal (India) during next 24 hours.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 15th July 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in lower Saging Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Shan States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Mandalay, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninythayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States.
