BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
Special Weather: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over Jharkhand and adjoining South Bihar, India still persists. It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and weaken gradually.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th July 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Mon, Eastern Shan States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing over the whole country. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States.
