BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 8th JUNE, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw and Magway Region, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Yangon Region, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavy falls in Bago, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions. STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 - 12) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
