BAYINFERENCE:  Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 6th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon, Southern Shan States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Southern Shan State. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing Regions and  Kayin, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region.
