SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Rakhine State, scattered in Bago, Magway Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon Region and Mon, Eastern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 5.94 inches in Mandalay(Chanayethasan), 5.39 inches in Mandalay(Aungmyaythasan), 4.53 inches in Myitnge, 4.08 inches in Singaing, 3.73 inches in Tada U(Avia-Met), 3.02 inches in Patheingyi(Shwesayan), 2.52 inches in Amarapura, 2.32 inches in Mandalay(Chanmyathasi), 2.24 inches in Yangon(Kaba-Aye), 2.20 inches in Patheingyi and 2.13  inches in Madaya.

BAYINFERENCE:  Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Bago, Magway Regions and Rakhine State, fairly widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Sagaing Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Northern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Northern Shan States.
