BAYINFERENCE: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Northwest Bay and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move Westwards and may intensify into a depression over the Northwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal (Off South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coasts, India) during next 24 hrs and may cross into the South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coasts on 27-9-2025. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Severe Tropical Storm “BUALOI” over the Philippines sea is likely to move west-northwestwards, may reach South China Sea on 27-9-2025 and may intensify into a Typhoon. There after it is likely continue to move west-northwestwards and may cross over the northern coastal areas of Vietnam in the night of 28-9-2025.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Chin, Rakhine, Eastern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
