SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Chin State, scattered in Kayah, Mon States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region and Kayin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 3.79 inches in Sittwe, 2.99 inches in Kalewa, 1.81 inches in Monyin, 1.61 inches in Nyaungoo, 1.54 inches each in Yangon(Kaba-Aye) and Yangon(Botahtaung), 1.46 inches in Bago, 1.42 inches in Hlegu, 1.22 inches each in Homalin and Ywangan, 1.18 inches in Yangon(Mingaladon) and 1.15 inches in Nyaungdon.

BAYINFERENCE:  According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Westcentral and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards and it is centered at about 435 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Sittwe (Myanmar), 105 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Puri, 80 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Gopalpur and 145 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Paradip(India). It is likely continue to move north-northwestwards and cross Odisha and adjoining Andhra Pradesh coasts between Gopalpur and Paradip during to night.  Monsoon is moderate over the the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd October 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Chin States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Rakhine State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30 mph. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of withdrawal of southwest monsoon from the Deltaic Myanmar Areas.
