BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Tropical storm “MATMO” crossed Northern part of Vietnam has moved West-Northwestwards and downgraded into a Land Depression over Northern Vietnam and boundary areas of China. This is the last news for the Typhoon “MATMO”.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 7th October 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Chin State, scattered in Mandalay, Bago, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Rakhine States and fairly widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarway Regions, Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Ayeyarwady Region and Kachin, (Southern and Easthern) Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Shan State.
