SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin, Rakhine, Northern Shan States. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan State, scattered in Kayah State, fairly widespread  in Yangon, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 2.09 inches in Dawei, 1.95 inches in Thazi, 1.93 inches in Kyeikkhame, 1.81 inches in Hinthada, 1.69 inches in Mudon, 1.61 inches in Yangon(Batahtaung), 1.57 inches in Kawkareik, 1.38 inches each in Naypyitaw(Dekkhinathiri) and Yangon(Kaba-Aye) and 1.26 inches each in Meiktila, Mawlamyine and Chaungsone.

BAYINFERENCE:  Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay and partly cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th October 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States, scattered in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Rakhine, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Magway, Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of thundery activities over the Southern Myanmar areas.
