BAY INFERENCE:    According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a Depression over Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts on 22-10-2025. Thereafter, it is likely to continue to move West-Northwestwards further intensify towards North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts on 23-10-2025. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengle and Partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and over the Bay of Bengle.

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Tropical Storm “FENGSHEN” over the South China Sea has moved slowly Southwestwards and it is likely continue to move Southwestwards and intensify.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 22nd October 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan State, scattered in Yangon, Bago Regions and Chin, Mon, Northern Shan States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfall in Naypyitaw.. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Mon, Southern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Chin, Rakhine States.
