BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal (off Tamil Nadu coast, India) still persists. It is likely to move Northwestwards and may across North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Severe Tropical Storm “FENGSHEN” over South China Sea has moved West-Southwestwards and is centered at about 125 Nautical miles Northeast of Da Nang (Vietnam).

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd October 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon Region and Mon State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwday Regions and Rakhine State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine States.
