BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is centered at about 400 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 430 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 460 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a deep depression next 6 hours, Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay on 27-10-2025, Severe Cyclonic Storm may form on 28-10-2025 and may cross Andhra Pradesh Coast on that night. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea, the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay, partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 26th October 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Regionand isolated in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (Northern and Southern) Shan States. THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet in off and along Rakhine Coast.
